Shafaq News / The Iraqi Foreign Minister , Muhammad Ali al-Hakim announced on Tuesday the evacuation of Iraqi nationals in the Chinese city of Wuhan, the epicenter of the deadly epidemic of the Corona virus.

"Our students and their families in Wuhan are now on their way to the airport," Hakim wrote tweeted.

The Minister thanked the Iraqi Ambassador and Consul in Beijing for "their efforts" in evacuating the nationals.

The Iraqi Ministry of Transport has announced the suspension of flights heading to and from China, after the spread of the Corona virus.
