Shafaq News / The Investigation court in Baquba, headed by the Federal
Court of Appeals of Diyala arrested on Tuesday a terrorist cell, including a
woman working to recruit young people to terrorist organizations through
social networking sites in al-Muqdadiya district affiliated in the province.
"A cell was dismantled in al- Muqdadiya district affiliated to Diyala province
made up of three accused people, including a woman who works in
recruiting young people to join ISIS terrorist organization through social
networking sites," a statement by the media center of the Supreme Judicial
Council said.
The statement pointed out that "the defendants were arrested by the
security forces by following up and supervision of the judge of the
Investigation Court of Baquba," noting that "the Court took all actions
against the accused people and ratified their confessions judicially in
accordance with the provisions of Article IV / 1 of the anti-terrorism law."
