Shafaq News / Member of Parliament, Deputy Yonadam Kanna confirmed on Sunday, handing over a list signed by 120 deputies to the President of the Republic, Barham Salih, containing the conditions for choosing the Prime Minister.

Al- Iraqiya News Agency quoted Kanna as saying that "there are 20 personalities from within Parliament and from various political blocs who met the President of the Republic, Barham Salih and presented him with a list containing the conditions for choosing the new Prime Minister signed by 120 deputies."

He added that "one of the most important conditions for choosing the prime minister is that he doesn’t belong neither to a party nor has a dual nationality, and these conditions are consistent with the conditions of the demonstrators."

He pointed out that " one week has remained from the constitutional period of choosing the prime minister, and there is no candidate yet for the position", noting that "if a candidate does not submit within a week to take over the position of prime minister, the largest group after Saaeron block will present a candidate."
