Shafaq News / The Commission of Integrity announced the details of the ruling defendant against the former secretary of the Health Sport Club, stating that the accused had seized the public money.

The investigations department at the commission indicated that the convict exploited his position as a former secretary of the Sports Health Club and seized an sum amounting to approximately (400,000,000) million dinars, explaining that the amount is allocated to be spent for the club’s work and the players ’salaries, except that the defendant deposited the amount in his name in a bank and did not provide proof of spending it in favor of the club.

The department added that Al-Rusafa Criminal Court specialized in integrity issues, after reviewing the evidence obtained in the case in which the body investigated and referred it to the judiciary, represented by the statements of the legal representative of the Ministry of Health who requested the complaint against the defendant and the administrative investigation that proved his negligence, as well as the minutes of the Central Inclusion Committee and witness statements and individual accused of their cases, reached the full conviction of the exclusivity of the accused.

 The court issued a judgment in absentia against the convicted person based on the provisions of Article (316 / Part Two) of the Penal Code, serving a ten-year prison sentence, issuing an arrest warrant and a fundamentalist search against him , the seizure of his movable and immovable properties, and retaining the affected party (Ministry of Health) the right to seek compensation before Civil courts.
