Shafaq News / Protesters closed Zubaidiya thermal power plant in Wasit Governorate on Monday, and prevented entry and exit of staff.
Concurrently, on Monday morning, protesters closed a university in Babil Governorate, preventing students and staff from working hours.
Shafaq News correspondent said that this morning, protesters closed the university gates, and prevented students and staff from entering.
The correspondent added that the protesters called the university to strike in support for the demonstrations in the country.
Meanwhile, a security source said that gunmen shot 15-year-old protester ,Mohammed Baqer in Dhi Qar after midnight without being able to hit him.
In Najaf, Najaf Health Department building was closed because their salaries were not paid and those with daily contracts were not converted into permanent contracts according to the decision of the Council of Ministers.
In Al-Diwaniyah Governorate, the protesters continued to close the departments of: health, municipality, nationality, agriculture, sewage, water, oil products, investment, fund, housing, justice complex, medical committees, trade control, trade, irrigation, water resources, work-related safety, prisoners, martyrs, environment, real estate registration, tax, planning, and state properties.
