Shafaq News / Local sources revealed that Nineveh governor Najm al-Jubouri was subjected to "pressure" by some members of the dissolved Provincial Council to take up new positions.
According to the local "Time FM" radio, "Al-Jubouri received some of the dismissed members who are bargaining him for executive positions in Nineveh governorate, and explained, quoting what they called the sources, that the members asked Al-Jubouri to appoint them to the positions of assistant director of construction, director of investment in the province, and director of the governor's office as well for the position of Security Adviser.
The sources said that al- Jubouri refused that.
The Mosul-based radio did not reveal other details on the matter, but only said, "It is those who want these positions are the same who voted for a-Jabouri to assume the position of governor."
