Shafaq News / Clashes took place between demonstrators and what are known as the "blue-hats", followers of the Sadrist movement in Najaf.
A source told Shafaq News, that the blue hats tried to disperse a sit-in in Najaf by force using arms and after that, clashes broke out with demonstrators.
He added that the accident injured two demonstrators.
According to eyewitnesses, "The blue hats forced the demonstrators out of their protests and reopened the roads."
In Dhi Qar Governorate, south of the country, the blue hats forced the demonstrators to move away from government institutions, universities and school buildings in coordination with the security forces, and they reopened some closed roads.
On Sunday, the leader of the Sadrist movement, Muqtada al-Sadr called for the return of the "revolution" to its discipline and peace.
