 The previous assessments have reported that the number of fighters is about seven thousand individuals, and cannot determine the number of elements of the organization inside Iraq only to the difficulty of determining the number of those who come and go to and from Syria.

The officials said to CNN network , seen by "Shafaq News", that “ these fighters came from three sides, across the Syrian border who got out of prison in the areas controlled by "ISIL" as well as loyal elements to the organization in the towns that ISIL imposed its control on them.

According to one of those officials, the mechanism that ISIL work with   is being a " growing military force by its capabilities and skills" The important question here is the extent of its ability to extend at the same time that keeps them on the territory controlled by it , the answer according to the official depends on the continued support of Sunni clans and tribes, which is a strength and continuity source for the organization.

The security and political situation in Iraq has witnessed serious developments after the sudden Iraqi security forces withdrawal from Nineveh province and a number of provinces as Salahuddin, Kirkuk and Diyala and the control of ISIL elements on them.
