Shafaq News / Erbil's situation room in the region of Kurdistan announced today, Tuesday, closing 274 stores for poor compliance to health instructions issued to curb the spread of Covid-19 pandemic, during the past seven days.

Shafaq news agency received the statement of the situation room and it says that it, "devoted all its endeavors and capabilities to protect the lives of citizens and implement the measures issued to prevent Coronavirus (Covid-19) spread, via health committees in the ten districts".

The statement demanded the people of the governorate and all the places allowed to serve the citizens, and under these exceptional and dangerous circumstances, to demonstrate the utmost sense of responsibility to protect the lives of people and the health security of the governorate, calling on them to adhere to health instructions and wear masks. Otherwise, penalties and legal procedures will be considered.
