Shafaq News / 35 health worker are believed to have been infected with COVID-19 since its outbreak, the Health Directorate of Sulaymaniyah Province in Kurdistan Region said on Thursday.

" The 35 infected staff are doctors, nurses, and other health personnel," deputy director of Sulaimaniyah Health ,Hirsh Saleem told Shafaq News Agency.

"Most of the infected health staff have recovered from the virus,” Salim added.

“10 people with Covid-19 are in critical condition under intensive care and need respirators”

“Yesterday , Al-Joumhori Hospital received 34 people confirmed cases of the virus ,” he concluded.

Kurdistan Region recorded 910 confirmed cases, including 16 deaths, and 441 recoveries, with 453 infected remain under medical care since the outbreak of COVID-19 pandemic last March.
