Shafaq News / The Directorate of Health of Karmyan District Administration in Kurdistan Region announced on Thursday that it had quarantined  about 280 people suspected of having corona with the aim of subjecting them to health supervision and ensuring that they did not have new Corona virus.

The Health Director Sirwan Muhammad said in a press conference that, from the first day of allocating quarantine places from February 20 to the 2^nd of March, 280 people entered in these places, noting that one of the oldest detainees is a 80-year-old woman. The youngest are two children, each one id one year old.

He explained that the Control and Health Tests Department at Kalar General Hospital was allocated to cases suspected of being infected with the virus, noting that five of the suspected cases’ laboratory tests were sent to Sulaimaniyah Hospital and the results of their tests were negative .

He stressed that he had not recorded any infection with the virus, noting that 56 detainees will be released today after the results of the examination showed them negative.
