Shafaq News/ The Department of Meteorology and Seismic Monitoring in Kurdistan Region recorded on Wednesday an earthquake in the areas of "Izmar" and "Derbandikhan" in Sulaymaniyah province.

At 10:19 a.m. local time in Erbil, an earthquake measuring 3.6 on the Richter scale hit at a depth of 8 kilometers, 180 kilometers from the center of Izmar and 128 kilometers from Darbandikhan, the Department said in a statement.
