“After 2003, Kurdistan Region has made great stages of reconstruction and economy, and provided tens of thousands of jobs for young people in different sectors,” Barzani added.
He stressed that "if it wasn’t for the war against ISIS and the successive crises, the situation in Kurdistan region would have been better than ever, and there would have been hundreds of thousands of jobs."
Barzani pointed out that "Kurdistan region is going through a new stage now and urges the pace towards a better future that will improve the market long the way and provide employment opportunities."
"The successful countries have proven that the provision of work is not the responsibility of the government and the public sector only, but the private sector should play a major role in this regard," he said.
