Shafaq News/ The leader of Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) , Masoud Barzani expressed on Monday his full support for the administration of Nineveh province.

This came during his meeting in Salah al-Din with Mansour al-Maraid, governor of Mosul, according to a statement issued by Barzani's office today.

"During the meeting, they discussed the administrative, service and living conditions of the residents of Mosul city and the general population of Nineveh province as well as situation of the displaced and their return to their origin areas,” the statement said.

The statement noted that Barzani "announced during the meeting his full support for the management of Mosul and its tasks and activities that serve the citizens to improve the living conditions of the displaced people."

The statement added that " the two sides stressed the need for permanent coordination between Kurdistan region and Nineveh province."
