Shafaq News/ Duhok Governorate, in Region, announced today, Thursday, lifting of curfews, and urged the citizens to adhere to the preventive measures in order to limit the spread of the novel Corona virus (Covid-19).
Duhok Deputy Governor Majid Sayed Saleh said, in a press conference held today, and attended by Shafaq News agency, that, "After extending it for 24 hours, the curfew will be lifted today", ensuring that it was essential to comply to the imposed measures.
Saleh asked the citizens to avoid crowded places such as mosques, restaurants and public markets, noting that, "health-care teams will be following up all sites and take actions against violators."
"Lifting the curfew and resuming usual daily life activities is conditioned upon the compliance to health guidelines everywhere", said the deputy governor of Duhok.
It is noteworthy that Duhok Governorate registered dozens of new confirmed Covid-19 cases, over the past two days.
