Shafaq News / The Ministry of Health in Kurdistan Regional Government announced, on Tuesday, that 11 fatalities and 299 new cases of Covid-19 were registered in the past 24 hours.
In a statement received by Shafaq news agency, the ministry said that 2247 tests were performed today, from which 299 turned positive. The confirmed cases were distributed among the provinces as the following: 70 from Erbil, 171 from Al-Sulaymaniyah, 42 from Garmyan and 16 from Halabja.
The statement added that 79 patient achieved full recovery, 59 among them are from Erbil, 3 from Garmyan, 12 from Duhok and 5 from Halabja.
11 fatalities were registered today, including 2 from Erbil and 9 from Al-Sulaymaniyah.
The statement noted that, since the beginning of the outbreak in the region, 15791 citizens have been quarantined, 14,613 among which were discharged later.
The total count of active cases in the region amounted to 4463; 1020 from Erbil, 3168 from Al-Sulaymaniyah, 154 from Duhok and 121 from Halabja.
On the other hand, the total number of recovered cases, according to the statement, has reached 1487, including 571 from Erbil, 748 from Al-Sulaymaniyah, 130 from Duhok and 38 from Halabja.
Meanwhile, the number of inpatients reached 2847, including 429 from Erbil, 2313 from Al-Sulaymaniyah, 24 in Duhok and 81 from Halabja.
129 fatalities were registered, including 20 from Erbil, 107 from Al-Sulaymaniyah and 2 from Halabja.
