Shafaq News / A doctor in Penjwin Hospital in Sulaymaniyah Governorate was infected on Monday, by novel Covid-19, after he contributed to treating many of the infected patients who were hospitalized during the past two days.

"Thank God in all situations, yes, I have tested positive with new coronavirus (COVID-19) infection as a result of my contact with a number of patients in Penjwin ,” doctor, Karwan Makram Zangana wrote on his Facebook page seen by Shafaq News Agency.

"Now I am in the hospital and my health is very good, thank you for your feelings and for asking about me," Zangana added.

The Ministry of Health of Kurdistan Region announced earlier confirming  12 new cases of coronavirus in Garmiyan region.
