The ministry of Health of Kurdistan announced on Wednesday , for the fifth consecutive day , that there were no new recorded infections with the coronavirus within the past 24 hours . 

In a statement made by the ministry, reported to Shafaq News , that the number of people who were in quarantine is ( 8410 ) . (1491) of them is now in (32) places, including (417) in Erbil, (219) in Sulaimaniyah and (826) in Dohuk and (29) In Raprin, the statement added that (6919) people left the 14 - days quarantine , indicating that (63) people were quarantined during the past 24 hours.

Regarding the total number of tests that were done during the past 24 hours, the statement confirmed that the ministry did (1123) tests , distributed as (446) in Erbil, (217) in Sulaymaniyah, (450) in Dohuk and (7) in Halabja And (3) tests in Soran, indicating that the results of the tests were all negative (there are no new patients).

Regarding the total number of people infected with Coronavirus in Kurdistan , the statement indicated that (337) people were infected with the virus, of whom (4) died, (304) confirmed with complete recovery, while the rest are under medical care.

The statement thanked the doctors, health personnel and all the medical teams present in the fields of work, asking the citizens not to leave their homes and abide by the instructions of the Ministry of Health, and contact the Ministry's hotline (122) in the cases of emergency.
