The Directorate of Health of Al-Sulaymaniyah governorate in Kurdistan region announced that around 2,000 people infected with the COVID-19 virus recovered within the province's borders.
In an interview with Shafaq News agency, Al-Sulaymaniyah Health Director Sabah Horami said that the last two weeks witnessed the recovery of 1990 patients from Covid-19. He added that between may 13th and July 12th, the number of recovered cases within this governorate has reached 2857.
