Shafaq News / The headquarters of Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) was under fire in Kifri district on Thursday, according to a local official source .

“Two unknown persons were riding a motorbike opened fire late last night towards one of the party's headquarters in Kifri then fled to an unknown destination, “The source told Shafaq News Agency.

The source added that the accident did not result in any human casualties, pointing out that bullets hit the headquarters’ wall .

Kifri district, currently affiliated to Diyala Governorate, is considered one of the disputed areas between Baghdad and Erbil, as Arab Kurds and Turkmen currently live in it.
