Shafaq News / The teachers of the Kurdish schools in Kirkuk Governorate launched a free volunteer campaign on Monday to clean and paint their schools.

Shafaq News reporter said that the teachers of the Kurdish schools have invested in the opportunity of curfew and took the initiative to clean and paint their schools at their own expense, noting that they "devoted two days a week to clean and paint these schools."

He pointed out that "there are 520 Kurdish schools of education and more than 9,000 teachers and employees in Kirkuk province, and that their salaries are being paid by Kurdistan Regional Government.
