Shafaq News / The Ministry of Health of Kurdistan Region announced on Thursday that it had recorded 12 new cases of coronavirus in Erbil Governorate.

As a continuation of the tests and search for those suspected of being infected with the new virus, 12 new cases were diagnosed in Corona in Erbil 5 men, 5 women and 2 girls, noting that 7 of the infected persons were in contact with previous patients, The ministry said in a statement received by Shafaq News Agency.

The statement added that the other 5 infected people were diagnosed after the virus symptoms appeared on them during their visits to hospitals.

The statement added that 6 of the infected people were residents of Ankawa district, and the other 6 were residents of "Golan" district, "Kamran" city, "Pirzan complex" and "Benslawah".
