Shafaq News / The Secretary-General of Kurdistan Islamic Union Party, Salahuddin Bahauddin, announced on Tuesday supporting the positions of the representatives of the components in Kurdistan Regional Parliament.

Bahauddin tweeted "the religious and ethnic components of Kurdistan are a living national part and a pride for the experience in the region and evidence of the aesthetic of coexistence in society."

"The components are free to take the political and social stance and the rest of the parties as well, and it is not fair that we hold them only responsible for the failure of the elections,” He added.

The political parties had recently attacked representatives of the components in the Parliament of Kurdistan Region under the pretext of supporting Kurdistan Democratic Bloc.

On Sunday, Kurdish leader Masoud Barzani expressed his concern over what he called the attack on the national and religious components in Kurdistan Region, declaring that they are an integral part of the region and all their rights are reserved.
