Shafaq News / The Prime Minister of Kurdistan Regional Government, Masrour Barzani  held a meeting with Italian Foreign Minister Luigi de Mayo on Wednesday.

During the meeting, the two sides discussed the latest developments in the Iraqi arena and the region in general, and ways to strengthen relations between Kurdistan Region and Italy, especially commercial cooperation, as well as in infrastructure field, including the advancement of the agricultural sector.

The meeting stressed the need to strengthen the ties of friendship that unite Kurdistan Region and Italy, as well as emphasize the continuing training and support for Peshmerga forces in the ongoing war against terrorism.
