Shafaq News / 51 citizens stuck in Spain have been evacuated on Thursday , the Department of Foreign Relations of Kurdistan Region announced.

The statement read that in the framework of the process of transferring citizens abroad in coordination between the Department of Foreign Relations in the region and in coordination with the Federal Ministry of Foreign Affairs, evacuated 51 persons who were stuck in Spain.

These citizens were subjected to the applicable health protocols to combat the Corona virus pandemic as they arrival at Erbil International Airport and will be undergo 14 days- quarantine.

Since the Iraqi Civil Aviation Authority suspended foreign flights, Kurdistan Regional Government has evacuated hundreds of its citizens stuck in India, Germany, Britain, Armenia, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Cyprus and, more recently, Spain.
