Shafaq News / Kurdistan Ministry of the Interior announced on Tuesday reopening two border crossings with Iran.
“Reopening "Tawilah" crossing within the borders of Halabja Governorate and "Keli" crossing within the limits of the administration of "Raparin" area is for commercial exchange only,” The ministry said in a statement today.
The statement added that health measures issued by the Ministry of Health should be applied in both crossings.
"No traveler will be allowed to pass the crossings towards the Islamic Republic of Iran or return from them without the approval of the Ministry of Interior," the statement added.
The ministry indicated that the statement comes into effect from the date of its issuance.
