Shafaq News / Kamal Muslim, Minister of Trade and Industry of Kurdistan Region, called on the population on Monday to the necessity of saving money and maintaining their financial savings until the current crisis is overcome due to the outbreak of Corona virus.

Muslim said in a joint press conference held with the President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Sulaimaniyah, Sirwan Muhammad that "the food stock in the designated warehouses and stores, as well as what is currently imported does not cause citizens' concern, but nevertheless they should not increase in expenditure."

He added that "the foodstuffs are very abundant," adding that "what was imported during the month and a half month of foodstuffs was not seen in to Kurdistan Region previously."

Muslim confirmed that the regional government provides facilities for entering foodstuffs and the obstacles that occur to it due to the measures and instructions taken in fighting Corona virus.
