Shafaq News / The Prime Minister of Kurdistan Regional Government, Masrour Barzani warned on Sunday of the spread of the new Corona virus in the region.

In a statement today, Barzani called on the citizens to adhere to the preventive instructions to limit the spread of the virus, and the Prime Minister said, "Unfortunately, violations are still continuing by people who act in a manner that not only endangers their lives but the lives of their families and the people of Kurdistan Region as a whole."

He expressed his regret for the increasing number of people infected with the virus, especially in Sulaymaniyah governorate, attributing the reason to the lack of cooperation with the institutions and concerned departments, and the failure of some people to apply the instructions.

Barzani called on all citizens and residents of Kurdistan Region to abide by the instructions of the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Interior to prevent the spread of the virus.
