Shafaq News / The President of Kurdistan Region, Nechirvan Barzani had a phone call on Tuesday with Sulaimaniyah Governor , Haval Abu Bakr.

The governor said today that Barzani expressed during the phone call, thanks and gratitude for Sulaymaniyah Governorate, its administrative units, internal security forces, Asaish , Peshmerga, public health directorates, institutions and service departments working in them.

On Monday, the president of the region thanked the people in the region for their commitment to the instructions and preventive measures to reduce the outbreak of Corona virus.

"Thank you, citizens and residents of Kurdistan Region, for staying at home to stop the spread of the corona virus," Barzani said in a message he posted yesterday on social media pages.

He also thanked medical teams, peshmerga forces, law enforcement agencies and the media "who work tirelessly to save lives", saying "I am proud of you."
