Shafaq News / The local government of Halabja Governorate announced on Monday opening a first of its kind laboratory in the governorate to conduct tests for suspected new Corona virus.

" Sulaymaniyah Health Directorate and the medical teams in the governorate were able to open a laboratory dedicated to conducting tests for Corona virus in a record time," local government chief Tawfiq Azad said at a press conference today.

He added that the establishment of the laboratory took 18 days only, and from now on, the tests will be conducted, adding, "We hope safety for all and that no one will be infected with the virus."
