The Kurdistan Democratic Party announced on Monday the nomination of the first deputy head of the party, Nechirvan Barzani for the presidency of the Kurdistan Region, and Masror Barzani, prime minister of the new government of the province.
"We will start discussions during the coming days with the parties and political parties in the Kurdistan region on the formation of the new government of the region," said the spokesman of the party, Mahmoud Mohammad, in a press conference in Pyrmam after a meeting of the leadership of the Kurdistan Democratic Party, .
He added that "this proposal will be presented to the rest of the parties and political parties in Kurdistan."
