Shafaq News / Peshmerga Ministry confirmed on Thursday that it has no forces outside the borders of Kurdistan Region.

The Secretary General of the Ministry, Lieutenant-General Jabbar Yawer  said in a statement to the Voice of America radio station in the Kurdish Language Department, that "there is no Peshmerga force outside the borders of the region, and our forces are all stationed on the repelling lines against ISIS."

He did not rule out the possibility that there would be Kurds among the armed groups that Turkey had recruited in Libya, but he reiterated that there are no elements of Peshmerga forces among them.
