Shafaq News / The Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK) decided to dismiss Dr. Sabah Hawrami, Director of Public Health in Sulaimaniyah, from his position because of his commitment to announce the results of laboratory tests and statistics of corona infections in the province, an informed source revealed on Tuesday.

PUK had asked Hawrami not to disclose the statistics and corona cases that are registered in Sulaymaniyah, the source told Shafaq News Agency.

The source added that Hawrami refused to comply with the request, and confirmed his commitment to the decision of the Ministry of Health of Kurdistan Region, which prompted the party to remove him from office.
