Shafaq News / Sulaymaniyah Health Directorate revealed on Thursday that all patients infected with coronavirus have recovered except for one case only.

“Sulaymaniyah Health Directorate conducts laboratory tests every week for the patients who recovered from the virus and were discharged from hospitals. The Directorate's spokesman, Dr. Yad Naqshbandi said in a special statement to Shafaq News.

He added, "Now there is only one infected case with the virus who is in a private hospital in Sulaymaniyah and she is a volunteer nurse, as she had the virus while performing her work and carrying out tests for the infected people."

"Sulaimaniyah has sent a proposal to maintain the curfew because the situation is still serious and we need 20 days to ensure that Kurdistan Region is free of corona,” Naqshbandi added.
