Shafaq News / The Governor of Sulaimaniyah, Haval Abu Bakr denied on Tuesday, objecting the curfew measures used to prevent corona virus, after reports that Sulaimaniyah was working to ease restrictions on the curfew.

Kurdistan Region took several measures progressively, to prevent the Corona virus, including suspension of official hours and curfews.

Abu Bakr told Shafaq News, "At this stage, we cannot lift the curfew. It is dependent on medical assessments."

He added, "If the medical assessments require the curfew to be lifted in stages, we will do so, and if the case is opposite, we will proceed with it as well."

He said, "The people should avoid crowded places. We will pass this dangerous stage if the people abide."
