Shafaq News / The Ministry of Health of Kurdistan Region announced on Thursday that it has recorded 22 confirmed cases of coronavirus in Sulaimaniyah Governorate.

“The new positive infections belong to 12 men, 9 women and a young boy, indicating that 8 of the new patients received the infection from previous patients, while the others have contracted the virus after symptoms appear on them, The ministry said in a statement received by Shafaq News Agency.

The ministry added that 21 of the new victims are residents of Sulaymaniyah city and others are residents of Warawa sub-district.
