Shafaq News / The Member of the Health Committee of the Iraqi Parliament, Dalia Farhad announced on Wednesday that the federal government will send funds and medical equipment to Kurdistan Region, as part of fighting the emerging Corona virus.

The official website of Kurdistan Democratic Party quoted Farhad as saying that "within the framework of the plan to combat Corona virus, the federal government will send an amount of three billion Iraqi dinars to Kurdistan region."

She added that "China will provide Iraq with health equipment and supplies in large quantities," noting that the region's share of equipment and supplies is guaranteed.
