Shafaq News / A local official source said on Saturday that a residential area in Aqra district of Dohuk Governorate was isolated after recording a new infection in it.

The security and health authorities informed the people of "Behok" area not to leave their homes , go to the mosques or markets.

The source added that there were 38 people who were in contact with the case that was recorded yesterday, and that they were quarantined in a hotel in Aqra city, to be subjected to laboratory tests.

On Friday, the Ministry of Health of Kurdistan Regional Government announced the registration of two new cases of coronavirus in Dohuk Governorate.

The ministry added that they recently returned from the capital Baghdad and were in quarantine.

Since the outbreak of Corona virus in Kurdistan Region, Dohuk Governorate has recorded 19 cases, all have recovered.
