Shafaq News / Two citizens from “Said Sadiq” district in Kurdistan Region have designed a disinfecting device that has the ability to sanitize 1,200 people per hour, in light of Covid-19 outbreak.

In a statement received to Shafaq News agency, the mayor of "Said Sadiq" said, "two volunteers has installed a disinfecting device inside the district's market", aiming at guarding against Covid-19. The statement indicated that disinfecting tunnel sanitary capacity is 1200 person per hour, noting that there is plans to implement similar devices in other areas of the district.
The mayor's office statement demonstrated gratitude to the efforts of the citizens, Ali Tarshi who designed the device and Muhammad Zardawi, the owners of the factory where the device was manufactured.
