The activist in the human rights field, Ali Sinjari said in a telephone interview with "Shafaq News", that “ Sinjar Mountain  includes thousands of families that fled to it since the invasion of "ISIS" to Sinjar on Sunday.

He adds that the absolute majority of those are with no food or drinking water under very high temperatures and burning sun heat.

  Sinjari quoted eye witnesses that an unknown number of young children died due to thirst or because of the high heat.

He reveals that some who went to the mountain late talked about the atrocities committed by ISIS against Yazidi civilians of murder and kidnapping for men and women.

Sinjari appealed the international community and humanitarian organizations to immediately intervene to find a solution to alleviate the suffering of tens of thousands of displaced Yazidis in Sinjar Mountain and outside it.

Informal figures speak of Yazidi activists talked about the presence of 200 000 Yazidi displaced people inside and outside Sinjar district and they are in desperate need of urgent support.

ISIS organization has controlled large parts of Sinjar district on Sunday, after the withdrawal of Peshmarga troops which was charged with protecting it.
