Shafaq News / Former head of General Intelligence in Saudi Arabia, Turki Al-Faisal denied that the President of Iraq in the Baath era, Ahmed Hassan Bakr, was involved in the process of storming the Saudi embassies in Sudan and France in the seventies of the last century.

Al-Faisal accused organizations that believed in socialist and Baathist ideology, including Palestinian ones, on attacking the two embassies.

Al-Faisal confirmed in an interview with "MBC" TV channel, the incorrectness of Saudi Arabia receiving information indicating the involvement of Al-Bakr, saying that the information was indicating the lack of involvement of Al-Bakr, but Iraq was one of the countries that support many of these organizations through its ideological and Baathist approach.

He indicated that he was unaware of the existence of Ba'athist organizations in the kingdom at this time.
