Shafaq News/ The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reported on Tuesday that the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) have fully recovered the Ras al-Ain city, following an earlier attack on Turkish forces and its loyal factions in the outskirts and countryside of the western city of Ras al-Ain, where violent clashes took place on Tal Managhir hills amid intense mutual shelling.

SDF was able to make progress in the area and regain lost sites and points during the past hours, as the clashes left several dead and wounded people from both sides, according to the Observatory.

Earlier, the Observatory pointed to the continued violent clashes in Ras al-Ain city , Al-Managir and in its surroundings and parties, between the Syrian Democratic Forces on one hand, and the Turkish forces and its loyal factions on the other, accompanied by continuous aerial and ground shelling, amid the latter's control of three new positions .

Turkey and factions loyal to it began on Wednesday an offensive against Kurdish forces northeast of Syria.
