Shafaq News / The spokesman of the US Central Command has reported that Iran is continuing to smuggle weapons to the Houthis in Yemen without any regard for the UN Security Council resolutions.

The US official said during a press conference that Tehran continues to violate international laws by smuggling weapons into Yemen to the Houthi militia, which it uses to launch attacks on Saudi Arabia.

The US military spokesman showed pictures of weapons seized last week aboard a sailing ship in the Arabian Sea, which contained 150 anti-tank missiles.

He added that the people who were arrested on the smuggling ship were Yemenis and were interrogated before they were handed over to the government authorities in Yemen.

The spokesman for the US Central Central Command said that al- Quds Force was behind the smuggling of weapons to the Houthis in Yemen.
