Shafaq News/The Chinese authorities recorded 71 deaths of "Corona" virus during the past 24 hours, the lowest daily death toll recorded by the country in more than two weeks, bringing the total number of deaths to 2,663 people.

The National Health Commission of China said in a statement on Tuesday “According to the latest statistics in 31 provinces, the death of 71 new cases of corona virus has been confirmed, bringing the number of deaths to 2663, infections of 77,658 cases, and 27,232 people have recovered after treatment." Noting that 62 of the 71 deaths were recorded on Monday occurred in Hubei Province, the epicenter of the epidemic in the center of the country.

Corona virus continues to spread outside the borders of China, where South Korea announced on Tuesday, that it recorded 60 new cases of the virus, bringing the total number to 893 cases.

"22 people have recovered from the virus, and 13,273 people are currently being examined, 16 new cases have been recorded in Daegu and 33 cases in Gyeongsangbuk-Do Province, and the rest are in different regions of the country," the Korean Health Ministry said in a statement.

This increased the number of Arab countries that recorded cases of, "Corona" infection emerging to 7 countries, after the announcement of the Sultanate of Oman, Bahrain, Kuwait and Iraq, the record of infections in it on Monday.

The head of the WHO delegation in China announced that "the very strict measures" have been taken by China to combat the "Corona" virus probably prevented hundreds of thousands of people from the disease in the country.
