Shafaq News / The UAE Ministry of Health announced on Wednesday, that 50 new cases of corona virus were recorded, bringing the total number to 248, while 4 patients recovered after receiving the necessary medical care.

New cases were monitored after investigations and contacts of previously reported infections, and cases related to travel abroad.

Following the announcement of the 50 new cases, the total number of confirmed cases of corona virus in the UAE reached 248, while the number of recoveries reached 45.

Meanwhile, the UAE Ministry of Health and Community Protection and the UAE National Authority for Emergencies and Crises clarified that food outlets "cooperative societies, groceries, supermarkets and pharmacies “ will be allowed to work 24 hours, taking into account that the percentage of shoppers does not exceed 30% of the total capacity, and maintaining the safe distance "two meters" according to the principle of social distance.

This comes in order to reduce crowding, in compliance with health guidelines and preventive measures in combating the new Corona virus "Covid 19".

The Ministry stipulated in its circular on Wednesday, the commitment of those responsible for it to health and safety measures in light of the precautionary measures and measures taken by the concerned authorities in the state to combat the virus, in order to preserve the safety of society and the lives of its members and their health.
