Shafaq News / Israeli media revealed today, Friday, that 10 thousand soldiers are placed in quarantine, after discovering 350 new Covid-19 cases among the ranks.

Israeli media, citing military sources, said that most of the isolated soldiers are still carrying out their duties under strict medical supervision and in safe locations.

The same sources indicated that the numbers are still disturbing, which prompted the army leaders to call up 2000 reserve soldiers by the end of this July.

According to the latest official Israeli statistics, 348 deaths have been registered since the beginning of the outbreak, as well as 34,825 cases.

The Israeli government approved a bundle precautionary measures to limit the spread of the virus.
