Shafaq News / The head of the Iranian judiciary, Ibrahim Raisi said on Sunday that his country will take a new step regarding the killing of a Soleimani commander in cooperation with Iraq.
Raisi explained that a file had been formed in Tehran Prosecutor's Office to follow up on the case of Soleimani’s killing, and the judges were assigned to follow up on this issue in cooperation with the International Affairs Aid in the Judicial Authority and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the country.
"This file will be decided in cooperation with senior officials of the judicial system in Iraq, we will follow this matter in earnest, and we will avenge the killers of the martyr, Soleimani," he added during his attendance at Kerman, the 40-day ceremony marking the killing of Soleimani.
Raisi noted that "hatred and aversion to America and Americans around the world is more today than ever," according to Iranian IRNA news agency.
Soleimani was killed, along with the deputy head of the PMF, Abu Mahdi Al-Muhandis in a US air strike near Baghdad airport on January 3.
