Shafaq News / The Iranian Ministry of Health announced on Tuesday that the number of Corona virus infections has risen to more than 84,000.

The ministry pointed out that "1297 new cases of the virus were recorded during the past 24 hours, bringing the total number to 84,802 cases."

The ministry pointed out that "the number of corona virus deaths in the country increased to 5297 after recording 88 deaths during the past 24 hours."

The ministry confirmed that "60,965 people infected with corona have recovered so far," stressing "the need to take into account social distancing."
