Shafaq news/ Mansour Darajati, director general of the Tehran Province Crisis has declared an alert in Firuzkuh (near Tehran); after consecutive earthquakes happened in the district on Sunday morning, July 12, and could be a signal to the arrival of large earthquake.
This comes at a time when a seventh earthquake rocked the Firuzkuh, measuring 3.5 on Richter scale, on Sunday evening.
The spokesman added, "We did not suffer any damage during earthquakes in Firuzkuh, on Sunday, but the necessary arrangements were made."
Iranian Seismological Center in the University of Tehran, the seventh earthquake center was 22 km from Firuzkuh, and at a depth of 8 km, the same area that witnessed seven earthquakes in less than 24 hours, from 5:15 am on Sunday.
