Shafaq News / The Iranian Ministry of Health, Treatment and Medical Education spokesperson Kianosh Jahanpur announced on Sunday that the number of Corona virus infections in the country reached 38,309 people as of Sunday noon, while 2,640 people died, and 12,391 people recovered.

Jahanpur added in his press statement today, that during the past 24 hours, 2901 new cases of infection with Corona virus were recorded, bringing the total number of people infected with the virus in the country to 38 thousand and 309 cases so far, including 3467 patients in a critical situation.

He added, that the number of people recovering from the virus has reached 12,391 people so far, but unfortunately another 123 people died during the past 24 hours, bringing the number of people who died from the virus to 2,640 people.
